JOIN ADAXIS – PIONEERING ROBOTIC HYBRID MANUFACTURING
ADAXIS is a robotics software company unlocking the potential of next-generation manufacturing processes. Our technology makes industrial robotics accessible and easy to use for everyone. We aim to support a more robust, resilient, and sustainable industry by providing simple, intuitive tools for anyone involved in manufacturing.
Our software, AdaOne, enables users to transform robotic arms into hybrid machines for printing, machining, and inspecting parts made of metal, plastic, composites, and concrete. It includes everything needed to turn a standard robotic arm into a high-performance manufacturing tool — from program generation to simulation and real-time supervision. AdaOne is used globally by entrepreneurs, researchers, and manufacturers across industries such as aerospace, energy, transportation, and retail to produce and repair complex, cutting-edge parts. Our growing community pushes the boundaries of advanced manufacturing every day through their collaboration with ADAXIS.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
As an Application Engineer, you’ll be the go-to expert helping clients succeed with AdaOne – from initial install to production ramp-up.
Work closely with customers to deploy, configure and support AdaOne in production environments.
Diagnose and solve technical issues (bugs, post-processing, robot integration, slicer tuning).
Train and guide users (researchers, engineers, machine operators).
Translate our users’ needs into concrete results and use cases.
Collect and structure feedback to help improve the product.
Travel regularly across Europe and the world to client sites.
Collaborate with product & dev teams to align user needs and features.
YOUR BACKGROUND
Engineering degree in robotics, mechatronics, or similar. Experience in a technical customer-facing role is appreciated, ideally in computer-aided engineering software or hardware. Computer design and robotic integration skills (language, configuration, environment) are expected.
You love solving real engineering problems, talking to users, and making things work.
You know your way around robotics, automation, or advanced manufacturing.
You’re comfortable travelling often and adapting to new contexts.
You are fluent in English and French.
You’ll be supporting our clients on the ground, from installation to production, and becoming their go-to partner for success.
Bonus: experience in manufacturing, integration, or sensors.

About ADAXIS
ADAXIS was launched at the beginning of 2021 by Henri Bernard, Guénolé Bras, Emil Johansson and Vasan Churchill, following years of applied research into using industrial robotics for advanced manufacturing at ESTIA and RISE Research Institutes of Sweden.
The team first met during a collaborative research project where they found a shared frustration with the time-consuming and complex task of programming industrial robots for 3D printing. One year later, ADAXIS was formed to solve this problem by bringing a new intuitive and powerful software for robotic programming to market.
Today, ADAXIS is a multi-national team of innovators based between the two cities of Bayonne, France, and Gothenburg, Sweden. We help world-leading companies in automotive, aerospace, manufacturing, construction, and interior design to create new innovative and sustainable products.
